Synercore through Allmark Foods, specializes in ‘Blend & Pack’ business set up to cater to the needs of the food industry to meet stringent food safety requirements. Allmark Foods can cater to blends of dry, wet, or paste ingredients. Allmark Foods can pack in various packaging sizes and formats according to the customized batch requirements of the customers. Blending rooms and warehousing are setup to cater to allergen as well as conflicting material control. Allmark Foods in Midrand is FSSC 22 000 accredited, while our production facilities in Cape Town are HACCP certified.

Through effective supply chain management, Allmark Foods Supply coordinates a broad range of activities required to effectively plan, control and execute the customers’ product’s flow, from acquiring raw materials and production through distribution, in the most streamlined and cost-effective way possible.

Allmark Foods make use of two distinct blending models when contract packing for our customers:
Standard Contract Blending
  • The customer is quoted a fixed price for blending and packaging.
  • An additional cost for packaging materials may apply, depending on whom supplies such materials to Allmark Foods.
  • The customer is responsible to provide the batch sheets and correct quantity of raw material and packaging materials to Allmark Foods, 3 (three) working days prior to when production is scheduled. Allmark Foods will blend and pack, complete QC and release return the product to the customer.
  • All stock counts are the responsibility of the customer.
  • The customer is responsible for selection and auditing of raw materials and must supply Safety Data Sheets before Allmark Foods will approve to enter their premises.
Full-Service Contract Blending
  • Allmark Foods will control, purchase and stock the raw and packaging materials as specified by the customer.
  • Allmark Foods is responsible for the vetting of suppliers and raw materials.
  • The customer will supply a recipe, preferred supplier and raw material price specifications.
  • Allmark Foods will take complete control of the process from suppliers to delivery of the finished goods.

The customer will be charged an additional 12% on expenditure.

Food Safety Management System Certifications

Within Synercore Food Holdings we are committed to maintaining and expanding on Food Safety Management Systems, RSPO and Religious certifications to meet international recognized standards.

Current certification within the group is summarized as follows:

  1. Allmark Foods in Midrand has been upgraded from ISO 22000 to FSSC 22000 certification in 2017. The site is also SANHA Halaal,  Kosher and RSPO certified.
  2. Allmark Foods in Cape Town (Klapmuts) is HACCP certified. The site is also SANHA Halaal certified and Kosher certification can be requested per product.
