Synercore Food Holdings is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Mariesa Vrey as Quality Assurance Manager within the group of companies.
Mariesa obtained her National Diploma in Food Technology at CPUT and worked in the Dairy Industry for 17 years, of which 11 years has been at the Simonsberg Cheese Factory (part of the Lactalis/Parmalat Group) in the position of Quality Manager. During this period, she had the overall responsibility for the implementation, maintenance & improvement of Food Safety & Quality Management systems (i.e. ISO 22000). Following her tenure at Simonsberg, she worked for 2.5 years for In2Food in Strand, at the Prepared Foods factory which is a high care facility that produces a comprehensive range of convenience foods, including; salads, pizzas, meal solutions, soups and snacking items. Mariesa has excelled within her career with the specific focus on Quality Systems and will continue to do so within her new role in IRS as QSM within the Synercore Group.
